PT Petra Penida Energi Indonesia (PPE Indonesia) has officially established a technical partnership with the Geophysics Laboratory of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), as part of the company’s commitment to continuously enhance the quality, reliability, and sustainability
of oil and gas projects in Indonesia. This collaboration unites the strengths of industry and academia to create innovative, research-based solutions with tangible outcomes. The UGM Geophysics Lab, renowned for its experienced team of experts and its comprehensive, independent testing facilities and laboratory equipment, will support PPE Indonesia in the technical aspects of its projects, ranging from testing and validation processes to the development and field implementation of relevant technologies. This partnership is expected not only to accelerate innovation in oil and gas project execution, but also to act as a catalyst in achieving the national production target of one million barrels per day. Moreover, the synergy between PPE Indonesia and the UGM Geophysics Lab reflects a concrete step toward a more adaptive, globally competitive, and sustainably driven national energy industry.
